Taco Casserole Recipe

You’ll Need:

1 (7 oz) bag of crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos.
1 lb of lean or extra lean ground beef.
½ cup of diced onion (optional).
1 package of taco seasoning.
1 (8 oz) package of shredded cheddar cheese.
1 (8 oz) package of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, jalapenos or any taco topping you might like.

How to:

In a skillet, brown the beef and onion together and drain off the fat. Add the taco seasoning according to package instructions.

In a 9×13 pan, place the crushed chips, add a layer of seasoned meat and top with ⅔ of the cheeses.

In a preheated oven to 350° bake for 15 minutes.

Once you remove from the oven, top with your favorite taco toppings and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.

Simple, easy and yummy! I personally use lettuce and diced tomatoes over the top with some sour cream and jalapenos. Feel free to choose your toppings!
