Pineapple-Orange Sunshine Cake

You’ll Need (for the cake):

1 box of yellow cake mix with pudding.
1 (11 oz) can of mandarin oranges with juice.
½ cup of oil.
4 large eggs.

You’ll Need (for the frosting):

1 package of Jell-O no bake cheesecake mix.
1 (20 oz) can of crushed pineapples with juice.
1 cup of sour cream.
1 (16 oz) container of cool whip.

How to:

Preheat the oven to 350° and grease and flour a 9×13 pan or 2 9’’ round or square pans.

In a mixing bowl, mix together the cake mix, oranges and oil on medium speed until blended. Add in the eggs one at a time while beating.

Pour the batter in the pan you choose and bake for 20 minutes.

Let the cake cool while you make the frosting.

To make the frosting, mix the cheesecake mix, crushed pineapples and sour cream in a bowl until well blended. Add in the cool whip and mix.

Once the cake is cooled, frost it and refrigerate until serving time.
