Amazing Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

You’ll Need:

125g of butter.
1 cup of brown sugar.
¼ cup of caster sugar or white sugar.
1 egg.
1 tsp of vanilla essence.
1 cup of self-raising flour.
1 tsp of baking powder.
¾ cup of plain flour.
1 cup of milk chocolate chips.

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and set aside.

In a large bowl, pour the butter and mix it with brown sugar and caster sugar until smooth.

In a separate bowl, beat the egg with a fork then pour it over the sugar mixture and mix in the vanilla.

In another bowl, mix together the flours and baking powder and add to the mixture gradually. Stir until well combined.

In lined baking trays, drop rounded tablespoons of the dough with 1 inch apart.

In a preheated oven to 160°C bake for 12 minutes.

Let set for 3 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool.
